Franca Scala Cova, the founder of the HYSQIA brand, was born in Northern Italy, right on the border with Switzerland. From an early age, Lausanne became her second home. Time and again, she fell in love with the landscapes of this beautiful country — its stunning lakes, mountains, and the elegantly dressed women of that era.
From a young age, she was deeply passionate about cosmetics and fascinated by all kinds of beauty and skincare products. In the 1980s, Switzerland was globally renowned for its ski resorts, watches, chocolate, and banks — everything produced there was considered a mark of the highest quality. It was during this time that Franca developed her first cosmetic line in Switzerland, produced within a clinical setting. Following its global success, her inspiration became unstoppable — the creation of HYSQIA was inevitable, and the founding of the brand in 2008 was far ahead of its time.
After 30 years of successful experience in developing body and facial care products, Franca came up with a simple yet brilliant idea: to create a specialized intimate care line that helps balance the effects of hormonal changes, different climates, and water quality during travel and long flights — enabling women of all ages to enjoy a fulfilling intimate life.
